Ashley completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Rochester. She is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with experience in both therapist and supervisory roles. She has worked in the city of Rochester with the Rochester Regional Health System in a clinical setting for over five years, working with a broad range of client needs and demographics. Ashley approaches therapy with a humanistic and person-centered perspective. She uses motivational interviewing and mindfulness practices to build clients’ understanding of their experiences, selves, and future goals. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Ashley’s areas of focus are anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, interpersonal and relational skills, and managing life transitions. Ashley aims to provide clients with an open space to explore their experiences as part of a non-judgmental and collaborative relationship. She strives to help clients slow their thought processes to gain greater awareness and clarity, allowing them to better observe and alter their patterns. She helps individuals examine their self-perceptions, experience, and relationships to move forward toward a more peaceful and resolved sense of self.
Ashley provides individual therapy for clients age 18 and older. She is currently providing telehealth sessions through HIPAA compliant video application as well as in-office sessions.
Ashley has limited availability for new clients, primarily between the hours of 9am-1pm.
