Jessica completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology at St. John Fisher College and continued there to earn her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is also a credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor (CASAC). Jessica has extensive mental health experience from working at Rochester's Catholic Family Center Restart Outpatient Clinic. She began with Catholic Family Center as an intern and progressed to clinical manager of evaluations. Through her time at the clinic, Jessica conducted individual and group therapy to address a wide range of client concerns, not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance dependence, and gambling issues.
Jessica approaches therapy with a client-centered focus that recognizes the value of truly individualized care. She works to provide a collaborative and comfortable environment where clients can receive genuine feedback and interaction. Jessica balances a laid-back and personable style with actively exploring the motivation and values needed to create change. Through building insight into thoughts and behaviors, Jessica helps clients build more adaptive patterns in their daily lives. She recognizes each client's position as the expert in their own experiences and is available to support, inform, and encourage her clients in sessions.
Jessica works with adolescents and adults. She provides individual therapy sessions via HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.
Jessica currently is available for new clients on weekdays during the morning/early afternoon hours.
