Jane graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Jane has worked in varied mental health settings and has collected a wide range of experiences and skills throughout her mental health career. She has worked with both adults and adolescents, individually, as couples, and in group settings. Jane’s experience includes working with younger populations through Hillside’s Children settings for mental health and behavioral challenges, as well as developmental disabilities through Arc of Monroe. Jane has worked in both behavioral health and medical settings. She is experienced in helping clients cope with chronic medical conditions, including working with dialysis patients to reduce depression and anxiety while at the Fresenius Kidney Care Center. Jane has also been a provider for emergency services through Rochester Regional Health’s CPEP. Jane is preparing to begin training for EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) as she continues to further her skills for helping clients work through trauma.
Jane enjoys working with adolescent and adult populations alike. She appreciates the opportunity to connect with younger clients and help support the development of healthy skills and relationships. Jane is conscious to build a comforting rapport with her clients that creates a secure space to process and grow through therapy. Jane blends a person-centered approach with real skills work, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches to provide a well-rounded therapeutic experience. Her wide range of experience in settings, client demographics, and treatment needs provides her with a strong therapeutic base to help foster the growth that clients need to pursue their greatest potential.
